Import-Export?

Tinderbox is the tool for notes. I use it daily especially to visualize and map my ideas. When the text that I wrote seems to me sufficiently elaborated to be rewritten, reorganized, recut, redeployed, etc., I export my notes in Scrivener, a text editor whose the outliner makes easier a more linear writing work. The procedure is quite simple, as evidenced by this short video with which I launch a section of my Vimeo page dedicated to the writing of a thesis.

Tinderbox est un outil de prise de notes dont je me sers au quotidien notamment pour visualiser et cartographier mes idées. Lorsque le texte que j’ai écrit me semble suffisamment élaboré pour être réécrit, réorganisé, redécoupé, redéployé, etc., j’exporte mes notes dans Scrivener, un éditeur de texte dont l’outliner facilite un travail d’écriture plus linéaire. La procédure est assez simple, ainsi qu’en témoigne cette courte vidéo avec laquelle j’inaugure une section de ma page Vimeo dédiée à l’écriture d’une thèse.
